Ups and downs

Robby has had 2 more doses of morphine. His eyes are now completely swollen shut and bruised. He is very aggitated by all the things strapped to his arms and legs.

His hemoglobin went from 10 yesterday to 7.1 today. That is not the direction we want it to go. His next lab draw is at 8:00am. We expect a visit from Dr. Fearon about 9:30am.

Robby was able to sucessfully drink (and keep down) another 2 ounces of pedialyte and 6 ounces of formula. He wanted more but the nurse advised against it.

I hate not being able to hold him.
