First night - PICU

Robby is coming back! His eyes are opening (and swelling shut at the same time). He is becoming aware of his surroundings and very suspicious of nurses. He is HUNGRY! He had 4 ounces of Pedialyte and was upset that he couldn't have more. We need to make sure he can keep the Pedialyte down before he can have his formula.

His last dose of morphine was at 6pm. His pain is now being managed with alternating doses of Tylenol and Motrin. He was just given a dose of Adavan (anxiety medication) to help him sleep. At 12:30am he had a "conversation" with me by grunting like a caveman.
