Meeting other families going through this journey is so comforting. Thanks to craniokids I have been fortunate enough to meet several families who have been there and their children are doing remarkably well now.
I recently met a dear friend who's sweet 10 month old son has the same condition as Robby. She lives on the east coast and will also be traveling to Dallas for her son's CVR procedure. His procedure will be done by the same surgical team as Robby's and ON THE SAME DAY!! Robby has the morning surgery. Robby's friend has the afternoon surgery.
I spoke with my new friend for over an hour last night. What a bond we share.
It gives us such comfort knowing we're not alone in this journey!
